I have been a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (Clicker Trainer) since 2013. I do private in-home lessons in addition to teaching group classes, in various locations around Kansas and Missouri. I have competed in Obedience, Herding, Conformation, and Agility with my own personal dogs;
I have a passion for positive, force-free training, and I am always looking to expand and update my skillset through courses, seminars and hands on clinics. I love working with all types of breeds and animals, and find great fulfillment in seeing those `a-ha` moments in learning new skills when it all comes together for humans and animals alike.

Positive Communication
Is clicker training a training method or a philosophy? Sometimes people are surprised by the enthusiasm and dedication we clicker trainers have for this method of training. I started Clicker Training as a way to communicate more “positively” and “precisely” with my dog in teaching behaviors for Agility and Obedience. The results were amazing. Changing one’s focus from the negative to the positive can certainly be a life-changing event.
